The Fischer Feritscope is a technologically advanced, portable device designed for accurate testing of piping and welding products. Erroneously applied heat treatment to these products or third phases in the material may result in ferrite levels dropping below approved indicators; seriously reducing the service life of stainless steel such as Duplex and Super Duplex.
Using the hand-held scope on structures such as wellhead welded piping spools and associated components, they can easily be tested prior to final installation in sub-sea or equally unforgiving environments.
